Pad-mounted Transformer
1. Tamper-Resistant Compartmental Design: Lockable high- and low-voltage compartments support safe outdoor installation and controlled access.
2. Radial-Feed or Loop-Feed Configurations: Primary arrangements can be engineered to match the project distribution system.
3. Live-Front or Dead-Front Primary Options: Bushing and termination arrangements are selected for the specified voltage class and utility requirements.
4. Project-Specific Protection and Switching: Bay-O-Net fuses, current-limiting fuses, surge arresters and load-break switches are available as required.
5. IEEE/ANSI and DOE Configurations: Designs can be provided to applicable IEEE standards and U.S. Department of Energy efficiency requirements when the product falls within the regulated scope.

Standards and Testing
Configurations are available for applicable requirements of IEEE C57.12.00, IEEE C57.12.34, IEEE C57.12.28 and IEEE C57.12.90. U.S. Department of Energy efficiency requirements under 10 CFR Part 431 apply when the transformer is within the regulated distribution-transformer scope. Final compliance requirements are confirmed during technical review.
Dimensions, weight, impedance, temperature rise, losses, BIL and accessory arrangements vary by rating and project. Final values are provided on the approved drawings and certified test documentation.
